Bobby Klau ("I Fought The Law") & Matthew Glasser ("Seemed Like A Good Idea At The Time")
Live from the Mark Twain House
Well-known in the Greater Hartford area as an actor, Bobbi Klau enjoys telling stories from traditional and contemporary Jewish sources, as well as personal stories at events all across New England.
Bobbi is a member of the Connecticut Storytelling Center, and of the monthly storytelling group, “Hither and Yon”. Her story is from the December, 2013 show, and the theme was “I Fought The Law”.
Matthew Glasser is the award-winning Executive Producer of Investigations & Enterprise at NBC Boston and NECN. He volunteers with the nonprofit Outside the Lens, teaching under-served youth to use the power of storytelling to improve their lives.
Be warned there is some profanity in his story from our April, 2018 show, and the theme was “Seemed like a good idea at the time”.
Tell your story at one of our live shows! Dates, themes, tickets, and swag are at marktwainhouse.org/mouthoff.
At that site, you’ll also see all the other cool stuff Twain has going on. In addition to funny and fascinating house tours, Twain’s tradition of storytelling continues with writing classes and workshops, chances to write in Mark Twain’s library, and the popular Mark My Words series, where authors from around the world come to talk about how current issues are colliding with their work.
